PSF has long experience to run different programs on health, family planning, sanitation, micro-credit and village development activities with different partner organizations. PSF provides different types of training to the service providers, village doctors (partnership with BRMA) and TBAs.
From 1976 to 1980 PSF received fund from TDH, Netherlands for 6 clinics to continue Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program and also received more fund from Inter Press, Canada for another 10 clinics to run Health and Sanitation Program which continued up to 1981. World Vision International provided fund for “Sreenagar Thana Outreach Community Development Program” to PSF from 1977 to 1982. Under this program PSF provided health, family planning and sanitation services to the villagers. Form September 1982 to June 1997, PSF received fund form USAID through “The Asia Foundation (TAF)” for Family Planning Services Project (FPSP) in 17 PSF Clinics. After successful completion of this project from July 1997 to June 2002 PSF worked as a partner NGO with Rural Service Delivery Program to provide family health services under NIPHP in 20 upazilas of nine districts in Bangladesh. From July 2002 to September 2007 PSF provided family health services as a partner of NGO Service Delivery Program under NIPHP within the same upazilas with expanded ESP services.
